626 Night Market is proud to be debut Stage Two, an experimental side stage on Saturday, August 8th only! From the hours of 6:45PM–11PM, be sure to make your way to the Art Walk to listen to the performances of a carefully curated group of individuals. Blankets will be supplied so that you may comfortably lounge on the grass and enjoy the sweet beats and words of these talented musicians and spoken word artists, and comedians.

Karl Pascasio, hailing from Cal State Northridge, is a spoken word artist that drops knowledge. Drawing from his Filipino and queer roots, Karl will draw new perspectives for his audience and teach the meaning of identity.

Steady are spoken word artists in Los Angeles. They are the current Chair and Vice-Chair of KmB, Pro-People Youth, are founders of Sunday Jump, an open mic series in Historic Filipinotown, and co-founders of Asian American spoken word collective forWord. They have performed on KSCI-TV LA18, at the LA Theater Center, the MacPhail Center for Music in Minneapolis, Brava Theater in San Francisco, and more. As organizers, they believe that the arts serve as an important avenue for personal growth, developing community activists, and ultimately, greater social change.

Jenny Yang is a Los Angeles-based writer and stand up comedian who produces the first-ever (mostly) female, Asian American standup comedy tour, Dis/orient/ed Comedy and has been a writer and performer on the viral Buzzfeed videos. Jenny was dubbed one of Los Angeles' "most fascinating people" of 2015 in LA Weekly's annual "People" issue. She is the regular co-host of AngryAsianMan.com Phil Yu's "Angry Asian America" talk show on ISAtv. ISAtv is a new media platform created by Far East Movement, and Wong Fu Productions.

Jeffrey Park, known as The Young Sun, is a new artist to the scene of music.  Combining his background and childhood musical memories of country folk music and soul/r&b, The Young Sun hopes to accomplish new sounds and voice for both Asian and Queer Communities.

TINTIN V. is an artist like no other. His sound has been described as thematic, ethereal & immersive. His lyrical work will transport your soul and his music will encapsulate your spirit. Having only been in Los Angeles for three years, he is already starting to make a name for himself amongst his community & now, you will see for yourself, just why. Bitter Party is a Los-Angeles-based ghost pop band inspired by war-era music and the melancholy of life. Immersing ourselves in the rich repertoire of folk, pop, and obscure tunes from Asia, our performance references the music in each of our pasts through family stories, dusty tapes, songbooks, vinyls, and YouTube channels.

Priska (born Priscilla Liang) is a Taiwanese-American singer/songwriter living in Los Angeles, CA. She has been playing keys since the ripe old age of 4. Always performing with her heart on her sleeve, Priska will captivate you with her unexpectedly big voice and poignant lyrics. Priska has performed and competed in various showcases and singing competitions. Judges and fans have been drawn in by her powerful vocals and soulful delivery.

jason chu is a rapper on a mission to speak hope and healing in a broken world. He tells stories of a generation wrestling with fear and joy, greed and hope, hurt and healing. His work has been featured on NBC, Huffington Post Live, China Daily, LA Times, and at hundreds of live performances across the country. MILCK sings with her keyboard and loop machine as a way to support her lyrics of empowerment, love, pain, and healing; a very strong one-woman show. Lim was a finalist on the first season of The Voice, and continued to explore music as she released a successfully funded kickstarter album, where her fans from all over the world helped her raise 13K. She has had the honor of singing at The Staples Center for the Clippers. Buzzfeed lists Connie as #7 of the Top 22 Musicians to get behind, and Music Connection music lists Connie as one of the top 100 unsigned acts in 2013.

Behon is an indie-folk band based in Eagle Rock, CA that blurs the lines of musical genres, combining backgrounds of folk, rock, jazz, and pop punk. Their debut Head and Heart EP showcases the culmination of their different musical backgrounds with heartfelt lyrics, catchy vocal harmonies, and not to mention, a three-piece horns section.
