Though Isabella has always loved writing and singing, but she didn't really start performing until college. After a well-received debut performance at Stanford’s freshman year talent show, she went on to perform around campus, including opening for 8-time Grammy-nominated R&B artist Jazmine Sullivan. She spent many late nights in the dorm common room, singing and composing softly at the piano. Finally, during a semester abroad in Paris, free from academic pressure and frolicking in the countryside, she had to admit that music was what made her happiest. And so, she continued to write and perform after graduation
LA Music Blog describes Isabella as "poised for induction into the illustrious modern female singer-songwriter pantheon alongside the likes of Ingrid Michaelson, Norah Jones, et al.... with her Broadway-ready vocals and knack for poetically cerebral yet quirky lyrics." She has also placed as a Top 5 Finalist internationally in the 2013 Kauai Music Festival Songwriting Competition, and has performed in music venues across LA, including the House of Blues and the Viper Room.
